Your craft is
world‑class.
Your story should be too.

We are the strategic filmmaking partner for Scotland's most ambitious brands, causes, and makers. Closing the gap between the quality of what you do and the story the world sees.

We build the media engines that carry those stories to the world.

02The Perception Gap
What you
make.
What the world
sees.
What you’ve builtWhat the world sees
A side

YEARS OF CRAFT.
REAL HUMAN INVESTMENT.

A product, a cause, an event. Work that earns its place in the world. The people closest to it know exactly how great it is.

What the world seesB side

SEEN. SCROLLED. FORGOTTEN.

They can see what you do. They just cannot feel why it matters. Good photos, decent videos, a highlight reel from two years ago. The assets exist. But none of it was built to carry the weight of what you have actually created.

This is the gap. We close it.

Here’s how
03The Offerings

Three ways we close the gap.

Solutions, not services.

Every commission is shaped around your outcome, not a list of deliverables.

00 / Pre-flight

The Blueprint Session

Clarity before commitment.

Most brands waste serious money on content that looks good but says nothing. The Blueprint Session ensures your investment never becomes a creative experiment. Get the strategy right before a camera is ever picked up.

In a focused half-day Storyfinding Workshop we work through our five-part process with you and your key decision-makers. We pressure-test your story, map your audience, define the outcome, and identify exactly what needs to be made and why.

A week later you receive your Strategic Roadmap. A clear, costed document outlining the diagnosis, the recommended media approach, and the pathway forward.

If you do proceed, the full session fee credits toward your commission.

In the half-day Storyfinding Workshop we cover
  • 01The Origin, why you started and the values you won't compromise
  • 02The Perception Gap, where your current story is failing your work
  • 03The Craft, the hard, expensive parts of your process the world doesn't see
  • 04The Audience, the emotional state of your ideal buyer or supporter
  • 05The Horizon, the exact outcome this needs to move in the next 12–18 months
What you leave with, a Strategic Roadmap covering
  • 01Diagnosis, of your Perception Gap
  • 02Core narrative angles, to explore
  • 03Recommended media approach, for your situation
  • 04Deployment strategy
  • 05A costed pathway, to move forward
Session fee:From £1,500Credited in full toward any subsequent commission.

Nothing lost

The Event Story

Scoped to the moment

Every event has a weight to it. We build the capture strategy around what yours actually needs. A single operator for legacy content and social cuts. Or a full media command centre handling live stream, photography, video highlights, social capture, and live social posting all at once. The moment determines the brief.

Stop letting good moments expire.

04 / Long Game

The Partnership

A full studio. One line in the budget.

From £3,500/mo
What this typically includes
  • 01Full Brand Engine production included
  • 02Ongoing shoot days built around your calendar
  • 03Rolling content library and social management
  • 04Quarterly strategy reviews
  • 05Direct line to the studio
The Format

A 12-month strategic relationship. You stop being an external vendor and become a long-term creative partner. We do not just build the engine. We drive it.

What We Do

We execute the full Brand Engine production but instead of walking away after handover we stay in the trenches. We hold quarterly strategy calls to align content with your actual sales or funding cycles. When seasons change or you launch something new we go back in to capture it so your media library never goes stale.

What You Get

The Full Brand Engine including the Brand Trilogy, 12 Social Reels, 60-plus image bank and The Vault.

Guided launch support. We build the rollout plan and schedule the posts.

A 90-Day Performance Pack testing different hooks and cutdowns of the main films.

A mid-year shoot to capture a new season, product line or updated founder message.

Why It Works

It solves the capacity problem. Founders are already overworked. Handing over 50 video files creates a new job for them. The Partnership removes that work from their desk completely. They are buying peace of mind.

Every commission is scoped to your specific needs. Prices reflect a starting point, not a ceiling.

The Well Good Way

Five phases. Built around your story.

04The Well Good Way

Five phases.
Every frame earned.

We don't improvise. The process is the product. It's what makes the work durable and the relationship one you'll want to repeat.

01

Discovery

The tough why questions.

Typical duration · 1–2 weeks

Most studios start at frame one. We start three steps earlier. Founders, customers, and competitors all get heard. We leave with the story, the audience, and the outcome written down.

What you receive
  • 01Stakeholder interviews
  • 02Audience mapping
  • 03Strategic brief

Todd Weller, Founder of Well Good Media

Todd Weller
Founder and Creative Director

06The studio

Trusted creative
direction. From concept to launch.

The story leads. Everything else follows.

Well Good Media is a boutique creative studio founded and led by Todd Weller. Every commission carries the same conviction. Your story deserves to be handled with the same care and craft you put into building it. We work with you, not just for you.

The team is built around what each story actually needs. Not what’s on a payroll. Not what looks impressive. A two-person crew or a ten-person outfit. The decision is always the same. What does this story need to be told well.

Over the years that has meant live streaming some of Scotland’s finest trad and folk artists to audiences around the world when touring was impossible, helping Tiree Music Festival punch far above its weight for a remote island event, and working with everyone from global charities to emerging Scottish artists who are ready for a bigger stage. The work varies. The ambition behind it never does.

0Years on setFrom music videos to brand anthems to multi-day events.
0Projects DeliveredDistilleries, makers, festivals, charities.
0M+Combined viewsStories that travel. All around the world.
The Founder

Todd grew up in Southern California with a deep love of cinematic visuals, music, and storytelling. He traded the comforts of home for charity work that took him from the beaches of Hawaii to the jungles of Borneo, the streets of Bangkok to the foothills of the Himalayas. He met his wife along the way, moved back to her home in Scotland in 2008 where he studied filmmaking, built a family, and never quite got around to leaving.

Adopted by the locals, he has never stopped being genuinely moved by what Scotland makes, creates, and stands for. This is home. And like anyone who loves where they live, he just wants the rest of the world to know how good it is.

That is what Well Good Media is built on. Years of cross-cultural experience, a deep respect for craft in all its forms, and a conviction that Scotland's most ambitious work deserves to be seen by the world. Not promoted. Not packaged. Genuinely seen, with the same standard of care that went into creating it.

We fight against the soul-less content that clutters the world. Not by being loud about it but by doing the opposite. Stories rooted in human truth, built with exceptional craft, designed to last.

The work we make matters because the people behind it matter. Scotland has world-class makers, causes, and brands. The world deserves to see them properly.

In their words
Working with Todd at Well Good Media was like working with a friend. He is easy going, calm, and made me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. His methodical approach, intro calls, planning ahead, agreeing on a plan before we ever picked up a camera, meant we got the most out of every shoot. The content reached thousands of people on my social media platforms.
Clare CoghillOwner, Chef and Author at Café Cùil
Todd has vision and passion with no ego. The preparation was impressive, the communication was perfect, and his confidence to take creative chances reflects in the end result. More than I could have thought possible.

08Questions

Asked, and
answered.

If yours isn’t here, ask. We reply to every message promptly.

01

How is Well Good Media different from a typical production company?

+

The difference is in what happens before the camera turns on. A lot of studios make genuinely great work. We produce great films that are built around a clear strategic outcome. We spend time understanding your story, your audience, and what you actually need this to achieve before we start thinking about shots. The result is work that moves the needle rather than just looking good on a reel.

02

Do you work with charities and non-profits?

+

Absolutely. Some of the best stories we have ever told live in this sector. Purpose-led organisations often have the most compelling work in the world and the hardest time communicating it. We bring the same standard of craft and strategic thinking to every commission. The cause does not change the quality. If anything it raises it.

03

Do you work outside of Scotland?

+

We are based in Glasgow and Scotland will always be home. The stories here are extraordinary and we never get tired of telling them. That said good stories do not respect borders and neither do we. Previous commissions have taken us across the UK, Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. If the story is worth telling we will find a way to be there.

04

How do you arrive at pricing?

+

Every commission is scoped to the outcome, not the output. Before we talk numbers we need to understand what the work needs to achieve. The clearer the business goal the more accurately we can scope and price the work. We send a written proposal within a week of the first conversation. No surprises, no hidden costs.

05

Who will I actually be working with?

+

Every commission is led by an experienced creative director from the first conversation to the final delivery. The wider crew is built around what each project actually needs. You will always know who is doing what and why.

06

What does the timeline look like from first conversation to delivery?

+

A focused Impact Film is typically 6 to 8 weeks end to end. A full Brand Engine runs 12 to 16 weeks. We will always give you a realistic timeline upfront. If something changes we will tell you before you have to ask.

07

What if I already know what I want?

+

Brilliant! Most of the time a client who arrives with a clear brief is already most of the way there. Bring it and we will work with it. We might sharpen an angle here or suggest a different approach there but we will always start from what you have built.

08

What if I have absolutely no idea what I want?

+

Also great. Honestly this is often where the best work starts. The Discovery phase exists precisely for this moment. We ask the questions, map the territory, and find the story together. You do not need to know what you want. You just need to know something needs to change.

09

What happens if I want changes after delivery?

+

The three-stage review process is built to catch everything before we get there. Stage one covers story and structure. Stage two covers pacing and performance. Stage three covers colour, sound, and finish. Additional revisions beyond the agreed review rounds are scoped and quoted separately. No drama, just a conversation.

010

Do you handle distribution and social strategy as well as production?

+

Every commission includes a Brand OS handover with a suggested release strategy and content calendar. You always leave with a clear plan for how to use what we have made.

011

Do you turn up with a proper camera?

+

The gear is never the point. We use whatever the story requires, from a cinema grade crew to a discreet single operator setup. Our focus is the result, not the kit. If you are worried about the camera, the Strategy phase has not done its job yet.

012

What makes Well Good, well good?

+

Good question. It is the stories we choose to tell, the standard we hold ourselves to, and what we do with our own business. After three years of trading WGM gives three percent of profit to charitable causes, increasing by one percent year on year.

013

How do we get started?

+

One email. Tell us who you are and what you are trying to make true. We will get back to you quickly with either a call invite or an honest response if we are not the right fit. Both are equally useful.

Landed safely.
